Rowley Mile Equine Scotland was established in June 2024 with a clear mission: to deliver an exceptional standard of equine veterinary care across the Scottish Borders and the south of Scotland.

While we offer a comprehensive ambulatory service, our principal areas of expertise are sports medicine, orthopaedics, and advanced lameness diagnostics—supporting both leisure and sport horses, as well as those competing at higher performance levels.

The Scottish Borders hold particular significance for the practice, as this is where one of our founders, Gregor Hepburn, grew up and developed his passion for equine veterinary medicine. In response to continued growth and client demand, our ambulatory service is supported by access to a dedicated veterinary clinic located just off the M6. This facility enhances our clinical capability, allowing for faster case assessment, improved diagnostic turnaround, and timely access to our veterinary team when clinic-based evaluation is indicated.
